Ancient Sumerian cylinder seal (VA/243 -State Museum, East Berlin), shows a ‘star’ with several (eleven) planets surrounding it.

“…two cities are situated in darkness and contiguous to the Mountain Qaf….(its inhabitants) do not even know Adam…They know not that Allah has created the sun and the moon…light come to them from the Mountain Qaf, and their walls, their stones, and their dusts are all shining as lights….they have no need to cover their bodies with garments…they are all male, and they have no females…On the night of the Mi’raj, when Gabriel took me to Heaven, he took me thence to these people. I offered them Islam, they believed in me, and in Allah. I appointed a Caliph among them from among their own nation, and I taught them Islam. Gabriel then took me to Tharis and Taqil and towards Yajuj and Majuj; they were infidels and did not accept Islam.”Hadith, Recorded by al-Tabari

“You will see them (Mahdi’s Helpers) flying.  They will defy gravity as do fighter jets.  They will appear to be flying and the hooves of their mounts will not touch the earth.  At their front will be Hadrat ‘Ali, our Master.”-Mawlana GrandShaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi

By the Prophet’s order, he (al Mahdi)  was first taken away to behind Mountain Qaf. Nujaba, Awtad, Budalla and Akhyar took him. Their Imam is Shihabuddin. Then, he was ordered to (return to earth and) be in the Empty Quarters. That is where Yemen and Hijaz join. It is a dead desert…God will send people from behind Mountain Qaf. No one will be alone at that time. When the Mahdi (alaihi salam) comes, he will bring so many new people with him who will be coming from around (outside) this earth. There are so many unknown worlds around (outside) our world. People will come from Nujaba, Awtad, Budalla and Akhyar.”-Mawlana GrandShaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi

Adam descended to earth.  This suggests we are not originally from earth. Rather Adam and Eve were sent down from the heavens above with language, knowledge, technology and power to colonize it. Earth was originally inhabited by Nasnas and Shiqqs (Ape-men known as Cave Men, Neanderthals, and Gog and Magog who evolved from earth as stated by Imam al-Nawawi) – the primitive form of pre-Adamic (permanent arrival) man, who was a warmonger and constantly shed blood on earth.  Civilization suddenly came up “out of the blue” nearly 7000 years ago because of Adam and Eve’s permanent arrival from the heavens and revealed knowledge which came with them and subsequently to their descendants among the prophets…to better understand the level of advanced scientific and mathematical knowledge of the prophets through revelation look at the scientific and mathematical miracles of the Holy Quran…do you deem it possible a scientist of today could know the mathematical miracles of the Holy Quran like the Golden Ratio but the Seal of Prophets upon whom it was revealed from Allah Himself, cannot? This journey started from Adam’s Peak in Sri Lanka which was part of India, and the first construction by the Viceroy of God on Earth Adam was Adam’s Bridge (Rama Setu/Ram’s Bridge) between India and Sri Lanka. Knowledge from Adam in India was perserved in the Vedas, even if misinterpreted later. Ram is a word in use until today by the Arabs as we see in the name Ramallah. The word “Ramallah” consists of two parts: “Ram” comes from Arami which means mountain or height, and “Allah”, the Arabic word for God. Adam was very tall and he descended on a mountain top…then he traveled to Arabia in search of Eve – where the the first city (Mother of Cities) Mecca and Holy Ka’aba was constructed. From there Adam and Eve reunited at Arafat, and continued to Iraq, and founded the Sumerian civilization. Adam (Atum) and Seth (Agathodaimon) continued to expand their borders until they reached Jerusalem through Shivta (شبطا) where Adam built Masjid al-Aqsa. Then Idris (Thoth) took this legacy to Egypt through Gaza and built the Great Pyramids of Giza and saved this knowledge in plain sight in the ‘language of birds’ (hieroglyphs)  mentioned in the Holy Quran. Noah (Nu) came after him, he completed Adam and Eve’s work over a period of 950 years. The flood wiped out everything old and primitive of the past and a new world was created. Animal husbandry, agriculture, astronomy, navigation, architecture, mathematics, law, social science and even genetics are the revealed sciences which were brought to earth with Adam and Eve. Eve was created from Adam’s rib (stem cells) by the Angels through a highly advanced form of genetic engineering. Adam was granted an even higher understanding and knowledge than the Angels. The prophets had highly advanced scientific knowledge…”  – Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin

According to ancient Islamic traditions, on the Night of the Ascension (al-Isra wal-Mi’raj), the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) visited non-human intelligent civilizations, and preached Islam to them.  According to the narrations, cities exist beyond our solar system. In the ‘Chronique de Tabari’ by Imam al-Tabari originally translated by Yasin Owadally, the following hadith of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) is narrated regarding the paranormal cities called Djaboulqa and Djaboulsa:

“These are two cities, one in the east and one in the west. Djaboulqa is in theEeast, and Djaboulsa in the West. These cities are of emerald, and both are linked to the Mountain Qaf. They both are twelve thousand farsakh in length, and twelve thousand farsakh in width.”

The Prince of Believers ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (alaihi salam) was in presence of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) when a delegation of Jews came from Khyber, Fadak and those of Bani Khuraiza. The delegation was accompanied by Abu Jahal and Walid-ben-Moghaira who wanted to see if what the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said confirmed what was written in Pentateuch and the traditions.

Hadrat ‘Ali (alaihi salam) asked, “O Apostle of Allah, are these two cities (Djaboulqa and Djaboulsa) located on earth?”

The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)  replied, “The two cities are situated in darkness (space), and share a border with the Mountain Qaf.”

‘Ali (alaihi salam) asked, “What is the population of these cities?” The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “Each city has fortresses, and in each fortress there is a garrison consisting of one thousand males, who keep guard each night. The tour of this garrison must wait for the duration of a full year (by our time) before it is able to return”.

‘Ali (alaihi salam) asked, “why does they city require such a great number of guards for its protection?”

The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “Because there are an enormous quantity of gems which belongs to the inhabitants of these cities, whom we call Tharis and Taqil.  Tharis and Taqil are enemies of the Djaboulqa and Djaboulsa. They are unceasingly at war with one another. It is because of these warring people that there are these guards, and sentinels”.

Hadrat ‘Ali (alaihi salam) asked, “are the inhabitants of Djaboulqa and Djaboulsa humans from the Children of Adam?”

The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “they do not even know Adam.”

‘Ali (alaihi salam)  asked, “has Satan penetrated there?” The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “neither do they know it (Satan).”

‘Ali (alaihi salam)  asked “do the sun and the moon shine on them?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “they know not that Allah has created the sun and the moon.”

Hadrat ‘Ali (alaihi salam) asked, “then how they see?” The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)  replied, “light comes to them from the Mountain Qaf, and their walls, their stones, and their dusts are all shining as lights.”

‘Ali (alaihi salam)  “O Apostle of Allah, what do they eat?” The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)  replied, “vegetation (herbs) that grow on their earth.” ‘Ali (alaihi salam) asked, “what do they wear?” The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “they have no need to cover their bodies with garments.”

‘Ali (alaihi salam) added, “so, they are Angels then?” The Apostle of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “no, but their obedience to Allah is similar to the Angels.”

‘Ali (alaihi salam) asked, “do they procreate?” The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “they have no desire, for they are all male and they have no females.”

‘Ali (alaihi salam) replied, “are they among the elect or of the damned?” The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)  replied, “they are among the elect, because they follow the religion and the law. They have professed Islam. On the Night of al-Isra wal Mi’raj, when Gabriel took me to heaven, he took me to these people. I offered them Islam, they believed in me, and in Allah. I appointed a Caliph among them from among their own nation and I taught them Islam. Gabriel then took me to Tharis and Taqil, and towards Yajuj and Majuj; they were unbelievers, and did not accept Islam.”

Then ‘Ali (alaihi salam) asked, “O Apostle of Allah, can mankind reach these cities?” The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam)  replied, “No man has the power to reach these people, because one has to walk four months in darkness! Meanwhile at the time of Prophet Hud, three (giants) among the Aadites who became Muslim, and believed in the Prophet Hud, fled their people.  They reached these cities…the three persons who fled the A’ad people arrived at Djaboulqa and Djaboulsa, and they stayed there. They were tormented by the people of Fid. They wanted to escape, but they could not. For these people have more power than they do…”

Salam, i enjoy discussing elements of this topic. I had read in a a Deobandi Urdu translation of Imam Suyuti’s work on ‘Tarikh I-Jinnat wa Shayateen’ that these other Prophets were from the Djinn race, and were not Prophets themselves, rather Messengers of these Prophets. They were non-human. Also, I know Qisass ul-Ambiya has similar narrations, deemed Israiliyaat. However other books confirmed there is only one Muhammad (alaihi salatu salam), and as such in the case of our Prophet (S), he personally visited these worlds, perhaps on the Night of the Isra wal Miraj. Additionally, Shaykh al-Akbar Ibn Arabi has spoken of multiple Adams and various world’s with further advanced technology. In regards to my understanding of the Maqam al-Mahmud, it is literally what it translates to mean. Our Prophet will sit on the Arsh, for us to behold on the day of judgement. It is the state wherein his bashari existence will become completely merged, absorbed, into his inner reality. This is the meaning of Wahdat al-Wujud, and attainment of this state before creation is the reality of Wahdat al-Shuhud.

tafsir of Muhammad ibn ‘Ali al-Shawkani called Fath al-Qadir:

“Allah is He who created seven heavens, and of the earth the like thereof” i.e. He created of the earth the like of them i.e. seven. The modality of the strata of the earth has been disputed. Al-Qurtubi said in his tafsir: they were differed over, according to two views: first, and this is the view of the majority, they are seven strata each above the other, and between each earth and the next earth is the distance that is between the heaven and the earth, and in every earth are inhabitants from Allah’s creation.
