“Anyone coming against you, I am coming against them!”
GrandShaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani al-Qubrusi addressing Lord Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin

naqsh1

54:17 “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me”

Lord Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin’s blog has been visited by hundreds of thousands of guests from over 174 countries globally.  In recognition of his research in political science and classical Islam, during his life, the venerable GrandShaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani appointed Lord Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin as one of his Deputies on behalf of Wa’iz al-Ummah GrandShaykh Mawlana ‘Abd Allah al-Faiz ad-Daghestani, and granted him over twenty-three honorary degrees, known as Ijazahs.  Lord Sayyid served as GrandShaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi and GrandShaykh ‘Abd Allah ad-Daghestani’s Deputy in Hyderabad, Deccan, India, and GrandShaykh Nazim’s Representative in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where he contributed research under the tutelage of Mawlana GrandShaykh Nazim pertaining to political science and covenant theology.

GrandShaykh Nazim was the second most influential Muslim in the world according to a 2009 Reuters online poll. GrandShaykh Nazim was regularly recognized among the world’s 50 most influential Muslims. In the annual publication, The 500 Most Influential Muslims: he was ranked 49th, 49th, 48th, 45th, and 42nd in the 2009-2013 editions, respectively.

According to Laurier University’s ‘Laurier M.A. Journal on Religion and Culture’, Lord Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin is credited as being the inspiration behind Canadian Pakistani scholar Dr. Tahir ul-Qadri’s historic six-hundred page fatwa against terrorism -published and recognized by the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation), an organization representing 56 Muslim states, and the collective voice of the Muslim world, with permanent delegations to the United Nations and the European Union.

Wilfred Laurier University’s “The Laurier M.A. Journal of Religion and Culture” (2010) writes on pg. 31,

“…the establishment of Amiruddin’s Al Sunnah Foundation and the twelve-step program…can be seen as inspiring and reinforcing the flurry of activism that has continued to emerge from within the community since mid-2009…This growing anti-jihadist activism includes Canadian-based sheikh Tahir ul-Qadri independently issuing a 600-page document in London in March 2010, thoroughly refuting any potential theological justifications for Islamic extremism and going so far as to state that terrorists and suicide bombers are destined for damnation”.

Mawlana GrandShaykh Nazim referred to Lord Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin on record as “one of closer ones to Mahdi (alaihi salam).”

In March 2013, GrandShaykh Nazim honored with Ijazah Lord Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin in the ‘Alid line of transmission of the Naqshbandi Sufi Order. This line is traced  through the venerable Khwaja Baha al-Din Shah Naqshband Bukhari – a biological descendant of al-Imam Hasan al-Askari – back to the Caliph of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam), Haydar ul-Karrar, Sahibu DawranShah Mardan, Shah Maydan, the Lion of Allah; al-Imam ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (radiAllahu anhu), the head of all spiritual chains in Islam and the progenitor of the ‘Aliid dynasties, empire, caliphates, kingdoms and nobility.

Lord Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin maintained his affiliation to the Order of the Masters of Wisdom (Khwajagan i-Naqshband) after the passing of Mawlana GrandShaykh Nazim and was visited by his son in-law Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani and his family in Hyderabad at his residence. Furthermore, Lord Sayyid’s initiation in the Order of the Masters of Wisdom was confirmed renewed in person thereafter at Cyprus by the venerable Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Rabbani; eldest son and identified Successor of GrandShaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi, although Lord Sayyid maintains his independence from all such religio-political leadership since 2016.

It is the accepted belief of senior murids of Mawlana GrandShaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi that while a successor figure was identified to Mawlana GrandShaykh Nazim, the Secretum Secretorum (Sirr) of the Naqshbandi Order returned to Mawlana Amir al-Muminin Shah e-Mardan Imam ‘Ali b. Abi Talib and to Saheb uz-Zaman Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar ‘alaihi salam after the life of Mawlana GrandShaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi.
